Chester County Color 5K at Exton Park – Saturday, Oct. 8
If running is your superpower, why not put your superpower to good use this October 8 for the Chester County Color 5k Run/Walk at Exton Park and the Chester Valley Trail.
The 5K has raised nearly $200,000 to fund the fight against opioid and heroin addiction. Race registration begins onsite at 8 a.m., followed by a presentation at 8:45 a.m. and the race at 9 a.m. Learn more about the Chester County Color 5k Run/Walk at Exton Park.
West Chester Chili Cook-Off – Sunday, Oct. 9
On Sunday, Oct. 9, head to Downtown West Chester for a day of fun, and a whole lot of chili as more than 50 chili teams, composed of businesses, hometown cooks, and non-profit organizations set up on the street to cook chili. Each team is vying for none other than the People’s Choice Award for the absolute best chili in town.

West Chester Halloween Parade – Wednesday, Oct. 26
The West Chester Halloween Parade returns from a long hiatus Wednesday, Oct. 26 beginning at 7 p.m. The parade will kick off at Church and Market Street, making a loop around downtown through 9 p.m..
